We’ve got over 10 years’ experience running overseas expeditions and we specialise in a few treks in particular. If you run a school or youth group and want to experience an Alpine challenge, then why not try the ‘shortened’ Walkers Haute Route from Chamonix to Zermatt? Six days among stunning alpine scenery and, at the end, you’ll have the chance to climb your first 3000m Alpine peak.
If you’re just starting out on an overseas adventure, why not try our centre based expeditions to the Pyrenees. There’s a chance to summit some pretty big mountains (over 2700m) and a chance to take in some of the local history and culture with our guided tours.
We also run expeditions to more exotic places. For our expeditions to South Africa, we work with Entabeni Explore. Entabeni have been running expeditions and outdoor education experiences in South Africa for over 20 years and are one of the few preferred providers for the Independent Schools for South Africa Association. On this experience, you will get the chance to trek along the famous Drakensberg Mountains and summit the highest peak in southern Africa at 3482m, watch a pride of lions on safari and walk in the footsteps of the 24th of foot at the battle of Rorke’s Drift. These two and three week expeditions involve an important volunteering element and we arrange for groups to work with children from a local Zulu village. We can take you into the mountain kingdom of Lesotho where you’ll have the chance to work in very remote villages and walk among the herd boys of Lesotho.
