Bespoke Expeditions

Getting out and enjoying yourself with your friends and family in the mountains is a great way to relax; let us help by arranging and guiding you on your mountain adventure. You’ll have a qualified leader at your side whether it’s a long distance trek, conquering a summit or a day learning new skills. Whatever your mountain dreams, we can help you fulfil them; here are some of our most popular experiences:

Trekking in the Pyrenees – This is a great centre based holiday for families and walking groups. Three acclimatisation walks up to 2100m and then we climb the highest mountain in the Eastern Pyrenees, Pic du Canigou (2784m). There’s a night in a mountain hut which adds to excitement and sense of adventure.

The Walkers Haute Route – Choose either six or twelve days trekking through Switzerland, staying in beautiful Swiss villages and ending your trek in Zermatt. If you would like to climb a 3000m Swiss peak, we can add that into your itinerary. Watch our latest trip here.

The Tour of Mont Blanc – Fourteen days trekking around this iconic mountain, staying in mountain huts and crossing between France, Italy and Switzerland.  You’ll have stunning views of Mont Blanc and mountains around and will have time at the end of your trip to visit Chamonix.

The Tour of Siula Grande – Read ‘Touching the Void’? Now visit the mountain that Joe Simpson and Simon Yates had their epic adventure on. Two weeks trekking in Peru is not for the fainthearted, but you’re unlikely to meet anyone else who has completed this trek. If you have the time, why not add an extra week to your journey and visit the Inca city of Cusco and one of the seventh wonders of the world, Machu Picchu?  For details about our latest trip, click here.

Swiss 3000m Peaks – You can enjoy the Alps without having to strap on crampons or pick up an ice axe. While many people head out to the alps to climb the big 4000m+ peaks, there are plenty of sub 4000m peaks that don’t require technical skills but still offer a great challenge and experience.  On this trip, we’ll stay in a central location, undertake some acclimatization treks and then put in some 3000m+ peaks, with a chance to stay overnight in a Swiss Mountain Hut. A truly memorable experience.

Norway Climb and Ski – Set in the frozen North, if you’ve ever seen the film, ‘The Heroes of Telemark’ then you’ve got an idea of the beauty of Norway. This trip has you experience everything from waterfall ice climbing to dog sledding through the arctic tundra. You’ll learn how to telemark ski and put these skills into practice as you go out on an overnight expedition. Don’t worry if you’ve never done any of these things before; the trip aimed at novices and experts alike. A real adventure through the frozen north! For details of our latest trip, click here.

Italian Dolomites – Come and join for us on an adventure to the Italian Dolomites and sample some of the best hiking, best views, best pizza and best wine that Italy has to offer. Recently designated as a UNESCO world heritage site, the Dolomites are blessed with vast forests, spectacular high altitude rocky landscapes and stunning glacial views.
On this trip, you’ll bask in these stunning views while staying in a traditional high alpine village, in the heart of the Dolomites. We’ll undertake day walks and for those who are feeling adventurous, there will be the option to stay in a mountain hut overnight.
